Terms of use

Version 1.0, effective ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 16, 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Carrom Soul: visitors, players, scorers and account holders. The site is run by the operator of carroms.net (contact@carroms.net).

Using the site

Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and use one account per person. Accounts that break these terms may be suspended.

No fake events or results, no attempts to reach data you may not see, no scraping that burdens the service, nothing unlawful.

Printed QR labels and training links let whoever holds them enter scores for one table. Keep them at the venue and re-issue them if they go astray.

You can stop using the site at any time. You can delete your account in Settings, except while it owns a tournament that is still open or is the only administrator account.

Organizers and published data

Players: entering an event on this site means accepting that your name, club, country, results and rating are published, as the privacy notice explains. A player who does not accept this cannot be entered. A photo is optional.

If you create clubs, championships, tournaments or players you are responsible for what you enter. You must have a lawful reason to enter each person. Before entering a player, tell them that taking part publishes their name, club, country, results and rating, point them to the privacy notice, and enter only players who accept it. Add a photo only with the player's agreement, and keep a record of that agreement. When a player objects to the publication of their name or asks for their data to be erased, anonymise their record if you manage it, or pass the request to an administrator, without delay; and correct mistakes promptly.

For the events you run, you decide who takes part and what is entered; we decide how the site stores and publishes it. A player may contact either of us, and we will help each other answer.

Results, standings, ratings and public pages can be read by anyone. Do not enter what you may not publish.

The service and these terms

The service is free and provided as is. Keep your own records — paper scoresheets and exports — for important events.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for events outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Software licence: [to be completed by the operator].

These terms may change; the version and date above show which apply.

Governing law: the law of the country where the operator is established, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
